Distance
from Woodland House - 0.6 miles - Drive Time:
Approx - 1 min
At 270 miles long, the world
famous walk along the Pennine Way takes in some
of the most beautiful scenery in the British
Isles. Running from south to north, the walk

Points of interest along the way include Kinder
Scout, where the notorious mass trespass of 1932
brought to public attention the difficulties
encountered by walkers wishing to enjoy the
countryside.
Hebden Bridge is a popular town where visitors
come to see the historic mills that were an
important part of the Industrial Revolution.
A firm favourite with visitors is the nearby
town of Haworth, where the Brontė Sisters lived.
